1° Season TRUE BLOOD
In the first season we see constantly interweaving three storylines: the identity of the serial killer Bon Tomps, the relationship of Sookie and Bill and the search for the rights of vampires and the parallel emergence of anti-vampire, and the plot involving the problems of Tara Thornton and their relationships.
The main plot of the first season revolves around the murder of several women who have had sexual contact with vampires, where the older brother of Sookie, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) finds himself linked to the murder of these, starting with their sexual partners Maudette Pickens (Danielle Sapia) and Merlotte's waitress Dawn Green (Lynn Collins), and ending in the murders of his grandmother Adele (Lois Smith) and his girlfriend Amy Burley (Lizzy Caplan). Though the viewer is always aware of his innocence over the deaths, Detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) tries to incriminate him as the main suspect in the investigation he conducts with Sheriff Bud Dearborne (William Sanderson). The viewer is also led to believe that Sam Merlotte is one of the killers to be always in the places where the bodies were found. When the episodes soon, Sookie Stackhouse is brought to thoroughly investigate cases to prove the innocence of his brother, whose best friends Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and Rene Lenier (Michael Raymond James), who support him, despite the turmoil he is. Rene, in turn, becomes the bride of Merlotte waitress Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston), and it is revealed that he is not what it seems. Finally, it is exposed as the real killer Bon Tomps and is killed in a final confrontation with Sookie.
But the subplot in the first season (that later develops while the main storyline in the second season) revolves around Sookie's best friend Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley). In the first episode, Tara is hired as "bartenders" at Merlotte's by shapeshifter, owner of the bar, and admirer of Sookie. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) with whom Tara later has a brief relationship. Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis), his cousin, now works as a cook at Merlotte's (in addition to several other jobs that include selling V), and Andy's cousin Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe). Tara's story is characterized by her relationship with her mother alcoólotra (Adina Porter) and his own destructive personality. During the season, Lettie Mae achieves sobriety but Tara's life begins to come out of your control. Kicked out of his home, this crashes his car in an accident driving drunk and this is driven by "social worker" Maryann Forrester (Michelle Forbes). While residing in the home of Maryann, Tara knows "Eggs" Benedict Talley (Mehcad Brooks), who feels threatened by.
The last plot of the first season revolves around the relacionamente Sookie and vampire Bill. While trying to prove the innocence of his brother, Bill takes her to the bar "Fangtasia" to investigate. There, Sookie knows the bar owner and vampire sheriff of "Area 5" in Louisiana: Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Eric is immediately interested in Sookie and her strange ability, but his right arm and assistant Pam (Kristin Bauer) finds himself indifferent. Eric employs Sookie to find a thief in his bar, but the author of the theft (a vampire) attempts to kill Sookie when she reveals his identity. With cuttings, Bill kills him to save Sookie, but commits a serious crime for killing another vampire. When Bill is tried for his crime, the punishment is to transform a girl of seventeen, Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) into a vampire to replace the one he destroyed. Though humans attracted to vampires (referred to as "fangbangers"), not all people are accepting the idea that vampires can have equal rights granted to mortals, and during the first season of the ways in which anti-vampire sentiment is expressed is through regular appearances on television by the Fellowship of the Sun (Fellowship of the Sun), a church in Dallas that is led by Reverend Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) after his father and family are killed in an accident "strange"
