True Blood Season 6 Bonus Teaser

Alexander Skarsgard talks about episode 59

The Fangover: Bill Goes Behind the Camera; Some Sam-on-Sam Action; Before Godric Went Ghandi

This week, Stephen Moyer goes where no True Blood actor has gone before, becoming the first cast member to direct an episode. "He was a natural," episode writer Mark Hudis shares in the Inside the Episode video. Moyer, for his part, is quick to give credit to his fellow cast members, "I knew I shouldn't have let Denis [O'Hare] and Michael [McMillian] go off on their own. Within a minute they were playing 'horsey.'" Fans shared Hudis's sentiment, tweeting the following:

  • @londonred08: #TrueBlood was awesome tonight -Stephen Moyer aka Beel, you are a great director, carry on.

  • @EliseMontalvo: Stephen Moyer needs to direct more episodes of True Blood. Great angles and lighting. Also, Joe Manganiello's butt.

While Moyer is expanding his reach, so is his character Bill Compton. Much to Eric's shock, Bill's views on the subject of mainstreaming are "evolving." EW wonders, "Is Bill actually turning to the dark side, or is he positioning himself for a feat of Edgingtonian trickery?" Share your opinion in this week's HBO Connect Tweet Battle.

Sam Trammell tells TVLine what it was like playing both sides of a scene—one as Sam and one as Luna as Sam. "When I read it, I really saw it as being kind of humorous, but we always wanted to play it straight," he says, "The whole situation is so insane that I'm sure it's pretty funny. The very end, when Luna is sort of dying, that was a serious scene. But then they added the thing where I almost kissed myself, so that was quirky."

Some other notable character moments this episode:

  • Anytime Godric makes an appearance you can expect fans to get excited. But in the Interactive Features on HBO GO, Alexander Skarsgard says he would love to see Eric and Godric "back in the day before Godric went all 'Gandhi.' For centuries, he and Eric were pretty wild together and I think that would be fun to play."
  • Will fans ever tire of seeing Alcide without a shirt on? The answer is no.
  • Vulture notes that Lafayette's "'F**k off while I smoke a blunt' business," didn't fly with their high school guidance counselor.
  • As some of you figured, Hoyt didn't have it in him to give Jessica the True Death, but if he had, he wouldn't have been the first ex-boyfriend to shoot her that week. Jessica reacts to her fight with Jason in this week's Babyvamp blog post.

The Fangover: The Proof Is in the Pompadour; @Oprah Chimes In; Enter the Cheeto Dragon

Usually we'd think it's sweet for someone to give their new lover a puppy, but when the couple consists of sadistic vampires Russell Edginton and Steve Newlin and the puppy is Luna's werewolf daughter Emma, it takes a slightly more sinister edge. While actors Denis O'Hare and Michael McMillian have enjoyed their characters’ budding romance, there's one area where they remain competitors. "Let's make one thing perfectly clear: No one has hair higher than Steve. Except maybe Pam. Maybe," McMillian says in the Interactive Features on HBO Go. "Denis O'Hare may claim his 'do the champ, but I think the proof is in the pompadour."

Another fan favorite who delivered the goods this week was Lafayette. Just as you were wondering out loud, "Is he supposed to be Whoopi Goldberg in 'Ghost'?" Lafayette settles the matter as only he can, hissing, "I ain't Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost." So who is he channeling? Costume designer Audrey Fisher says his fashion choices are partly inspired by Marlene Dietrich's gypsy madam outfit in the film 'Touch of Evil,' which she imagines is one of his favorites.

The quips kept on coming, no more so than in Fangtasia where Pam and Tara trade zingers like the madam and bartender they were in their human days. EW recaps the highlights, which include Tara's "Suck me, Vampire Barbie," and Pam's "Just because we drank a bitch together does not make us Oprah and Gayle" — a line that caught the attention of the one and only @Oprah herself. You can ask Kristin Bauer van Straten questions about it in a live Q & A on HBO Connect on August 13. Until then, vote in this week's Tweet battle over who has more at stake—#humans or #supes?

This week’s Inside the Episode video features episode writer Raelle Tucker talking about the new Bon Temps baddie Sweetie Des Arts, whom Vulture has dubbed "The Cheeto Dragon," and episode director Dan Attias discusses filming Jason's heartfelt farewell to his best buddy Hoyt. But the real fun was on Jessica's babyvamp blog, where Jessica was making the most of her time in lockdown in Bill's house. Here, she has a little fun at the expense of Maxine Fortenberry::

Looking Back on Pam’s Big Moment

For any TV star, becoming a fan favorite is a special kind of honor, but when your character also starts to drive some serious action on screen, you know you've arrived. In the case of Kristin Bauer van Straten, she knew something special was happening as soon as a big chunk of her flesh fell off … "Last year when I got my own storyline with my face rotting I was so happy," she told The Vault. "Alex [Skarsgard] and I had been asking for years about our relationship. Both of us were so happy to finally see it on paper and I thought it was just the most perfect explanation for both Eric and Pam."

1° Season TRUE BLOOD

In the first season we see constantly interweaving three storylines: the identity of the serial killer Bon Tomps, the relationship of Sookie and Bill and the search for the rights of vampires and the parallel emergence of anti-vampire, and the plot involving the problems of Tara Thornton and their relationships.
The main plot of the first season revolves around the murder of several women who have had sexual contact with vampires, where the older brother of Sookie, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) finds himself linked to the murder of these, starting with their sexual partners Maudette Pickens (Danielle Sapia) and Merlotte's waitress Dawn Green (Lynn Collins), and ending in the murders of his grandmother Adele (Lois Smith) and his girlfriend Amy Burley (Lizzy Caplan). Though the viewer is always aware of his innocence over the deaths, Detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) tries to incriminate him as the main suspect in the investigation he conducts with Sheriff Bud Dearborne (William Sanderson). The viewer is also led to believe that Sam Merlotte is one of the killers to be always in the places where the bodies were found. When the episodes soon, Sookie Stackhouse is brought to thoroughly investigate cases to prove the innocence of his brother, whose best friends Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and Rene Lenier (Michael Raymond James), who support him, despite the turmoil he is. Rene, in turn, becomes the bride of Merlotte waitress Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston), and it is revealed that he is not what it seems. Finally, it is exposed as the real killer Bon Tomps and is killed in a final confrontation with Sookie.
But the subplot in the first season (that later develops while the main storyline in the second season) revolves around Sookie's best friend Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley). In the first episode, Tara is hired as "bartenders" at Merlotte's by shapeshifter, owner of the bar, and admirer of Sookie. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) with whom Tara later has a brief relationship. Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis), his cousin, now works as a cook at Merlotte's (in addition to several other jobs that include selling V), and Andy's cousin Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe). Tara's story is characterized by her relationship with her mother alcoólotra (Adina Porter) and his own destructive personality. During the season, Lettie Mae achieves sobriety but Tara's life begins to come out of your control. Kicked out of his home, this crashes his car in an accident driving drunk and this is driven by "social worker" Maryann Forrester (Michelle Forbes). While residing in the home of Maryann, Tara knows "Eggs" Benedict Talley (Mehcad Brooks), who feels threatened by.
The last plot of the first season revolves around the relacionamente Sookie and vampire Bill. While trying to prove the innocence of his brother, Bill takes her to the bar "Fangtasia" to investigate. There, Sookie knows the bar owner and vampire sheriff of "Area 5" in Louisiana: Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Eric is immediately interested in Sookie and her strange ability, but his right arm and assistant Pam (Kristin Bauer) finds himself indifferent. Eric employs Sookie to find a thief in his bar, but the author of the theft (a vampire) attempts to kill Sookie when she reveals his identity. With cuttings, Bill kills him to save Sookie, but commits a serious crime for killing another vampire. When Bill is tried for his crime, the punishment is to transform a girl of seventeen, Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) into a vampire to replace the one he destroyed. Though humans attracted to vampires (referred to as "fangbangers"), not all people are accepting the idea that vampires can have equal rights granted to mortals, and during the first season of the ways in which anti-vampire sentiment is expressed is through regular appearances on television by the Fellowship of the Sun (Fellowship of the Sun), a church in Dallas that is led by Reverend Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) after his father and family are killed in an accident "strange"

Fan Love

No use talking not a fan of love is the most beautiful, and most of all honest! All those people who are able to spend hours and days sleeping on the floor, just so I can be closer to their idols, they sometimes do not know they exist, but they are there. What they argue over everything and everyone, and that still makes people change their opinions, to see that she is right!

Fan Love: The most sincere

Love fan is something different, but real. It's something that nobody can change or understand. It's a feeling that the only person that feels, can know what is. A love of fan are you sitting beside his idol, anytime! It's a phrase you read, listen to music, or have a thought related to it. That's what I think the cutest! A fan's love is the truest, most genuine .. Whether someday will end, or whether it will continue, it will forever be a real love, a love that you really felt that it's for real!
I doubt anyone who ever wondered you and your idol marrying, having children .. A family! Or even sometimes was talking to himself (a) figuring he'd be on your side, and you'd be talking.

I LOVE U ALEXANDER SKARSGARD
